The Public Health Emergency has been extended once again by the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary, Xavier Becerra. Extensions are allowed in 90-day increments creating the new expiration date of October 13, 2022, unless terminated earlier by HHS. With this extension, active waivers including the 3-day hospital stay waiver and use of Telehealth have also been extended.
