Good news on the advocacy front!
Congress passed and the President has signed into law, H.R. 4366, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024, which provides funding through September 30, 2024.
Specific to the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MPFS) Part B that went into effect January 1, 2024, this new law gives back 1.68% of the 3.37% reduction to the CY2024 MPFS, impacting clinicians and providers resulting in a 1.69% reduction as opposed to 3.37%.
Effective Date: Services delivered on or after March 9, 2024 will not be retroactive back to January 1.
